Say It - This Is My Year #2
This is My Year: Say It
Isaiah 54:1-3 “Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD. “Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs. “For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities.
As we continue to read this passage in Isaiah, we are instructed to speak with a voice of faith. We need to make a sound of fruitfulness in our barrenness and a sound of victory in defeat. When we declare or proclaim with our voice, there is something released out of our spirit.
It's time for a new sound -- a sound of expectancy, a sound of fruitfulness, a sound of expansion.
So what is coming out of you? Are you positive or negative? Complaining or grateful? Is it expectant? Sound creates an atmosphere – YOUR sound creates an atmosphere.
Mark 11:23-24 "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him. "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.
Don’t just talk about your mountain. Speak to your mountain.
Words spoken in faith move things. When you pray, speak to the mountain, prophesy to the mountain, declare to the mountain. Tell the mountain what to do.
2 Corinthians 4:13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore also we speak;
Faith has a voice. It’s not empty words. Faith is released in a voice -- your voice in agreement with God’s voice.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Isaiah 42:9-19 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you." Sing to the Lord a new song, Sing His praise from the end of the earth!
It is possible to move on to a new season or a new chapter.
At the Rock Church, we’re still writing spiritual history in Asheville. The book is not done yet for us or for you. It’s a new day! You can’t close the last chapter while you’re still rehearsing it.
Join your voice with God's promise and create a new chapter with your voice!
